Salary: £17,169.00 – £17,891.00 per annum
Details: Sure Start Children’s Centres in Redcar and Cleveland work in partnership with parents and other agencies to deliver high-quality services to improve outcomes for all children and their families.

The following post offers an exciting opportunity for dynamic individuals to join our multi-disciplinary team to support families to access Sure Start Children’s Centre services in the borough.

We are looking for a Community Engagement Worker to work as part of a team to support families and their children who would benefit most from attending activities and engaging with Early Help services.

The successful candidates will have substantial experience of working with children and families in local community settings. They will hold a minimum of a level three qualification in a relevant subject. They will have a flexible, friendly and approachable personality, with outstanding communication skills.

The authority is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children/young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and an enhanced DBS disclosure will be sought.
